Rooted in the aesthetics of futuristic technology and the electric atmosphere of cyberpunk narratives.

GMK Awaken features a dark base color paired with bright cyan and yellow legends, with some vibrant red accents, creating the classic cyberpunk color palette seen in sci-fi films and anime. I chose these colors because they evoke the feeling of glowing screens in dark environments and electronic displays coming to life.

The bilingual legends blend English (latin) legends with Japanese sub legends, reflecting the multicultural world often depicted in cyberpunk stories. I decided to design and include Japanese (Katakana) characters because they add authenticity to the futuristic theme while creating visual depth and international appeal. The Japanese characters aren't just decorative - it enhances the high-tech atmosphere that defines the genre.

Unique novelties replace standard modifiers with various sci-fi/circuit-inspired graphics and technological symbols. My goal was to transform these functional keys into artistic elements that reinforce the electronic theme. Yes, it's visually dense, but I think it perfectly captures the interfaces we saw in those 1980s action films. Indeed, I really wanted to create a design that captures the very essence of technological awakening through bold visual choices.

Awaken represents the moment when technology and consciousness merge: when systems boot up, displays illuminate, and digital worlds come alive. I designed this set for enthusiasts who appreciate cyberpunk culture, anime aesthetics, or anyone drawn to the visual language of our digital future.
