When Less Becomes More: How I searched for the most minimalistic keycap legend possible.

Where do we draw the line between legends and novelties? The genesis of Dots was born from the desire of a unique and creative way to rethink keycap sets that depart from traditional/common letters and numbers.

My goal was to solve a real problem I noticed with blank keycaps. Yes, blank sets look clean and work with any language, but they're really hard to use if you can't touch-type perfectly. I thought: what if there was something in between? Something minimal but still helpful? That's how I came to the idea of dots (even though it was originally an April Fool's joke).

The dots (if we could call those dots) of the modifiers keycaps are coloured to visually guide the user, who is even free to place keycaps with coloured dots wherever they want on their keyboard as a reference point (for example, while learning to type on blank keyboards, I placed red dots on the number row so I could find the 5 and 0 at a glance).

Additionally, With dots instead of legends (or as legends), the set can accomplish the same functionality, covering any layout, with fewer keycaps and obviously a cheaper price.
