Form Follows Function: An Industrial Design Study

This keycap set draws inspiration from the clean, functional design philosophy of legendary industrial designers like Charles Eames, Dieter Rams, and Jony Ive. The result is a minimalist approach that focuses on pure functionality and timeless aesthetics.

The standout feature is the bright orange accent system, which serves as both decoration and functional guidance. I decided to use this pop of color very strategically. Indeed, you can see it on the Shift key and also on the top legends of the number row keys (the symbols like !, @, #, etc.). My goal was to create a visual connection between the Shift key and the characters that require it to be pressed.

Overall, this set represents my attempt to bring the timeless principles of industrial design into the mechanical keyboard world: creating something that is both good looking (I hope) and practical, with no unnecessary elements to distract from its core purpose.
